EMPRS (pronounced Empreur) blends hip-hop, indie rock, and electronic music to create a unique musical experience. Formed in 2023 around Franck Annese and Lucas Posson, EMPRS features prestigious guests ranging from Benjamin Epps and the iconic The Pharcyde to Foreign Beggars, Canadian Buck 65, Australian Chela, Mike Ladd (the pope of spoken words), and actress Ana Girardot, among others. They share the microphone with Flo the Kid, the group's official rapper. The sound of EMPRS is reminiscent of Gorillaz, Beck's "Loser," and Bran Van 3000.
